The Session met on May 6, 2008, beginning with a Joint Meeting of Trustees, Deacons and Session with a potluck supper in Ettenger Hall. The topic for the Joint Meeting was a discussion of future staffing needs of the church.

The meeting was opened with prayer by Elder Rick Heine.

Rev. Arrowsmith presented Cal Parker, a member of the Confirmation Class, and the Session voted to receive him by Profession of Faith with baptism.

A letter from Rev. Blakesley was read advising of Ken McArthur’s resignation as Choir Director.  Session accepted with regret his letter of resignation effective the last day of August, 2008.

Elder Barbara Clark presented the following children for baptism and they were approved:

Session approved June 8, 2008, as the first worship service of the summer at the Historic Church. There will be a 9:00 am service at the Historic Church and a 10:45 service in Ettenger Hall.

Session appointed Elder Michael Bishop and Elder Marge Torongo, as commissioners to the May 20, 2008, meeting of Philadelphia Presbytery at the Wayne Presbyterian Church, Wayne, PA.

Session will Ordain and Install Officers on June 8, 2008, at the 9 A.M. service and receive new members at the 10:45 A.M. service in Ettenger Hall.
