P.W. Activities

“Come walk with me along life’s path

And I will walk with you.

We will share our joys and sorrow,

The way good friends should do.”

                                    Kay Hoffman

Our “Tea, Treats and Togetherness” will be Saturday, May 10th at 12:30 p.m. in Ettenger Hall. We will have tea, tea sandwiches and desserts.  Tickets will be on sale between services. $10.00 adults $8.00 children. Janet Velichko and the Dancers will entertain us with tap, jazz, etc. Please join us with your Mother, Daughter, Friend for some fun and togetherness.

PW. Will have the church service at Pickering on May 18th at 12:30 p.m. Come and join us for hymn singing and devotions and visiting with some of the residents.  Call Mazie (215-968-1401) if you can be there.

Tuesday, May 27th will be a combined lunch at King George Inn, and a ride on the Ferry Boat leaving from the Bristol Wharf and cruising the Delaware River.  Details and time to be announced later.  Sounds like fun.

Our last Bible Study will be the day of our picnic, Tuesday, June 10th at 10:30 a.m. at Joan Schwab’s home.

“Thank you” to all who worked at the Rummage Sale. It is a lot of work setting up, sorting, packing up and cleaning up. But it is also a time to be together with your church family and friends.

Take time to smell the roses and don’t forget to give someone a “hug” today.

                                                                        See you in church,

                                                                        Mazie

During the year P.W. has various fund-raisers and clothing drives such as the  Craft, Cookie and Wreath Sale, the ABC quilts, used clothing collection for the Woman’s Wardrobe and school supplies and new clothing for A Woman’s Place.  Since we are always telling you that the money will go to Missions, we thought it would be a good idea for you to know what missions we do support.  The pledges we receive go to the running of PW for such things as speakers, mailings and craft supplies.
