Chancel Choir

Chancel Choir (25-30 voices)

This choir rehearses weekly (September through May) and participates in worship two to three times monthly. The Chancel Choir also performs two large works annually, once in Advent and once in Lent.  These large scale projects employ professional musicians from outside Newtown Presbyterian Church as well as our own professional quartet. Repertoire ranges from Renaissance to Twentieth Century compositions.
All are invited to join this group.  Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 8:00 - 9:30 PM in the choir room #205.
